How to Prepare for Your IID Installation Appointment

Documents to Bring
Bring your court order, valid driver's license or ID, proof of residence, vehicle registration, insurance certificate, and any DHSMV paperwork. If someone else owns the vehicle, bring written owner consent.
Vehicle Condition
Your battery and charging system must be healthy. A weak battery can cause false violations or lockouts. If your vehicle has known electrical issues, consider having them diagnosed first.
Questions to Ask
Ask about your calibration schedule, how to read the device display, what to do during a lockout, and how to reach 24/7 support. Take notes or record the walkthrough if your provider allows it.
Payment
Setup fee, state fee, and first billing period are usually due at installation. Confirm accepted payment methods with your service center before you arrive.
